Oh, and, uh. I guarantee spoilers in comments, of course. So.

Okay, so when Lopez shot the Meta, he vanished. This means one of two things - he cloaked, or he used the time distortion unit to get away. Said time distortion requires Gamma, as has been noted previously in the show. If that is what he used, and not Tex's cloaking, then he does still have all his AI. Despite the EMP. He's still acting like he was in Reconstruction as well, which may be further evidence that he has them. Only time will tell, of course, but I find it... a curious possibility.

Actually, as it turns out, car-washing commences now. But after that, spazzing out for sure. Actually, I've been spazzing out since like 3:00, but communal spazzing will occur.

Fuck if I know. It's either that or somehow Epsilon or something. Epsilon must be feeding Caboose his smarts, either way.

Oh, it's definitely Epsilon. Or Epsilon-as-Alpha? But it's not actually Church as we know him, no. So we've got Epsilon being up to something mysterious that involves posing as a version of either Church or Alpha or a weird combination thereof based on Alpha's memories and Caboose's stories about Church, and then we've got Church and Tex who may or may not be somewhere around Valhalla and who are definitely up to something mysterious themselves. And then the Meta who is trying to find one or all of the above. Maybe.

SO. While I still don't think we'll see actual Church until the end of the current season, this was an excellent surprise!

I'm thinking it's Epsilon-as-Alpha if only because if Epsilon really sounded that much like Church, I think Wash would have made the connection a lot sooner. Wouldn't be too surprising if they did have the same voice and speech patterns, though, all things considered.

Yeah, I didn't actually mean Epsilon as himself - pretty sure whatever personality Epsilon had for himself at some point, it's long gone now. I still find it unusual, though, that Wash didn't notice sooner, given he had all of those memories for however long. You'd think he would have picked up on aspects of Alpha's personality through those and then would have recognized the resemblance much sooner in Church.

I also find it sort of strange that Epsilon chose at all to appear as Delta before. Why not Alpha instead? Church is Caboose's best friend, after all. ;D And so it had made sense if we were to assume that for some reason, Epsilon couldn't pose as Alpha, but obviously he can. So... who knows. Dramatic storytelling purposes I guess.

The finer points of this shiz are all over my head. All I can do is make up guesses that sound decent. |D

Maybe Epsilon sensed Caboose's delusions and decided to spare Church from having to deal with them. Church would have been very freaked out if Epsilon had taken the Alpha form though, oh my.

Well, then if Epsilon keeps this up, Church will be very freaked once he meets up with them. Which is bound to happen somehow, eventually.

... I'm a little worried about what Epsilon is up to, suddenly. I don't know why. I've sort of been inclined to trust him up until now, but it occurs to me that he may just be pissed off enough, especially if he's taking on Alpha's persona currently, to actually try and wipe out everyone with the Forerunner weapon. Especially since he's in a Monitor now. Wash is going to have to stop him, perhaps. Man, is this complicated.

I've always been a little wary of Epsilon. He's insane, fragmented, and who knows how he's going to go about things now that he can move around by himself. His insanity hasn't been that big of a deal since he's been confined, but now he can unleash it upon everyone if he decided to. :D;

Yeah. And now that I think back, heading straight for the "mysterious energy source" has always been his goal. I'd always sort of figured that the reason for that had something to do with, oh, say, the title of this season. But never once did he mention wanting to recreate Alpha, as I recall. He's just been intent on getting to that power source. I want him to ultimately prove to be one of the good little ifrags, but I think more and more it's looking like he may not be. And I can't say I blame him for wanting revenge.

So looking forward to whatever epic battle that will result. Because I feel like this is a season for an epic battle season finale. Wash vs Meta vs Church vs Alpha!Epsilon vs CT vs Tex vs... everyone else. That sucks for everyone else.

Yeah, Epsilon is the only ifrag who remembers the pain, so I wouldn't be surprised if he had a 'kill all organics' attitude about things. Well, 'kill all except a few select ones' since he might be feeling nice towards Caboose. Maybe.

Everyone else just needs to stand behind Tucker and his awesome sword and hope he protects them with its awesome glow.

Not just remembers it, but couldn't handle it anymore and deleted his own personality from his collection of memories. :/ I FEEL SO BAD FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED AGAIN BAAAW.

Yes. The awesome glow, and the hilarious "fwoosh!" sound effects he tends to make to accent its awesome. XD Oh god I love Tucker.

I'm excited to see Epsilon and Chuch meet up.

Yes. Oh man, yes. And, like, everyone else. I am especially now feeling a severe lack of Tex in this show. We got Tucker back, we've been teased with pieces of Church, but Tex is still MIA for two seasons now besides the trailer. TEEEEXXXX. Sob.
