I just started reading Death Note.. o.o Wow. I've only read the first two chapters, but I'm hooked.. it's fascinating... and such beautiful artwork too! ^_^ Thank you Ku for telling me about it... Yay..

<3 Ryuuku.. he's the coolest-looking shinigami *ever.* Seriously. I don't know why I think that but I do. And he's all blue.. ^_^

Woohoo! I finished reading as much of DN as has been translated.. hehe. Hmm, for a little bit there I was worried it was getting lame... but oh boy did I love the ending of chapter 53. ^_^;; But.. um.. crap, I can't give spoilers to Shiyou.. heh. Oh well. ^_^; I bow down to the writer for creating something that keeps you on the edge of your seat through almost 60 chapters.. and I dunno about some of you, but I honestly don't know whose side I'm on, it's so fascinating.. hehe.

In other news, I'm on chapter 37 of FMA.. whee. It's definitely started to take a turn away from the show in a rather large way.. though I still like the show better, it's interesting. I suppose I like the show better because of the emotional effects, among other things.. it just seems better-constructed and in some ways more horrifying. While there are several moments in the show that get to me in a certain way I can't really explain, I've only seen two of such moments in the manga, and only one of them happens in both the show and manga. I wish I could be less abstract, but again, there would be Shiyou spoilers 9and we can't have that now, can we? ^_^). Um, but that's not to say I'm not enjoying reading it.. quite the contrary. It's a lot of fun.

And yes Shiyou, I *will* get to Bleach as soon as I've finished the amount of FMA so far released.. ^_^;

Anyway... ::breathes a sigh of relief, having read FMA ch. 40::
But seriously.. I dunno how I feel about that.. Aaahg I want to talk about it in less vague terms but I don't want to give out spoilers. Lets just say this: She's one of the coolest characters, and so when she was convicted and then Roy.. well, it was terrible and made me so sad, and while ch. 40 page 30 or so was relieving in a way, it also annoys me that the mangaka did that because it makes everything seem alright again. The manga just doesn't have that eerie unsettling feeling the show has, and I miss it.
