Creepers gonna creep

Sooo.... I've been thinking of dropping Maria from Econtra.

I'm just having a hard time playing her for whatever reason, so all she ends up doing is being used when she's most convenient, instead of being a character in her own right, and it isn't really fair to her. That, and her very presence prevents Shadow from interacting with others because he just doesn't want to talk to anyone else. I feel limited, too, in that if anything ever happens, he just goes straight to her for comfort or whatever, and very little of that gets written out. Not because I don't want to, but because I feel like I shouldn't. Like, if I want to do that, I might as well just write fic.

But as we know, dropping her would be a double-edged sword of DRAMU because, well, we all know how well Shadow will handle her disappearance. And I don't want to drop her for the purpose of giving him something to angst about, but it's not something that can be avoided if I let her go.

So....... thoughts?

Man, we need a good name for this, or I'm just going to keep calling it The Epic RP. Or maybe I'll call it some kind of ridiculous acronym like Epic OOCBFFShTHRP, which is a little cumbersome. There's a threat.

ANYWAY, this is for you who want to read it, and for me and Lisa to use for reference if we need it. For those who might stumble upon this and have no idea what I'm talking about:

Once upon a time, Lisa wanted to play with her batsfangsflats characters in an ooc format so she could test them out a bit while continuing to set up us the bomb game. (AH FUCK I JUST LOST IT.) I was very bored at the time and was waiting to do something with Shadow in Econtra but couldn't until we finished a thread (that never got finished anyway :/) so we decided we'd play her prospective BFF set off of him. First was Puss in Boots. The two didn't really get along, and mostly, Shadow ignored the poor guy. Not that that's surprising or anything.

Then, she decided to try out Perion Eneas (Persephone).

Elements of this RP do not correspond exactly with their sister materials - for example, this version of Shadow never had Maria in Econtra (because really, if he'd just been torn away from her and dumped in this weird place, he'd be ballistic), and this version of Perion is later confirmed to be pregnant, which may or may not be the case in the real BFF RP once it starts up.

Next: In which the two make up over drinks, and Perion learns the universe is larger than she'd thought.

Saw this on someone else's journal and decided it sounded fun. Note, of course, that I haven't actually participated in this meme yet; I plan on doing so once I've finished unpacking. :D

While drawing things that have fur or hair or whatever takes AGES, I love to do it anyway. I think it satisfies that deep OCD monster inside me. Kind of like how I draw every single feather on birds that I draw. I have to do all the fuurrrr and it makes pretty results usually, but man.

Anyway, here you go. Uh. Let's say this is set in Econtra because the room looks pretty spartan. But really, I just suck at backgrounds. :D; (Sssh, don't tell.)

In other news, it snowed and hailed today. Thanks, winter. But, you know, it's past March 21. So, gtfo.

Hey, check it out! I'm updating this thing! I remember a time when I used to do that frequently. That was before I joined Econtra. :D; Wow, six months-ish now, huh? Time flies at terrifying speeds.

But this weekend I am home alone (and, no offense to Angela, Chris, and Maile, but I'm loving it, hahaha :p). So I've decided to post. I mean, ramble at you. Well, it's sort of the same thing, right?

For those who missed the memo, I am now playing the original tragic blue-eyed blonde who's living with a terminal illness but is shot and killed before his/her time should be up while sacrificing him/herself to send off our hero in a rocket plane/escape pod. >_> I seem to collect these kids, somehow. However, THANK GOD, Maria is not half as angsty as Alfons is. That would kill me. It really would. Because Shadow is like HELLO I AM SPIKY ANGST ON SKATES. So yeah. Also, how weird is it that Maria is my first female character in a LJ roleplay? GLaDOS totally doesn't count, she's a computer. Also, I dropped her because... it was way too hard to have her do anything in Econtra. Wah.

Ummm, nothing much else to see here, folks. School is still school, I still don't know what I'm doing this summer/next fall, and I just made a bunch of sweet potato hashbrowns for breakfast. Yum.

I've been trying to draw, icon, write (gasp!) but nothing's turned out yet. Or hasn't completed itself, alternatively. I'll post stuff eventually. Like, I dunno, the fic I have due by Tuesday. Ahahaha, at least that one's being more cooperative than my other creative endeavors right now.

Oh, as a side note, making your own tortilla chips using flour tortillas? Awesome.
