While drawing things that have fur or hair or whatever takes AGES, I love to do it anyway. I think it satisfies that deep OCD monster inside me. Kind of like how I draw every single feather on birds that I draw. I have to do all the fuurrrr and it makes pretty results usually, but man.

Anyway, here you go. Uh. Let's say this is set in Econtra because the room looks pretty spartan. But really, I just suck at backgrounds. :D; (Sssh, don't tell.)



In other news, it snowed and hailed today. Thanks, winter. But, you know, it's past March 21. So, gtfo.

Shadow reminds me of a giant cat. <3 It looks awesome and I particularly like the shading behind his right ear for some reason. Probably the depth it gives it.

It seems that most frequently he is compared to a big spiky puppy, but yes. XD That works. And thanks! I wish I'd bothered to give the rest of the drawing the same level of detail he got, but... I lost interest after the fur and the shiny bits were done. XD;; I'm a terrible person.

Yeah, seriously. I've never seen snow this late in the year. Totally bizarre. Watch, tomorrow we'll get an avalanche. In the middle of town. No, I don't know where it would come from, but I don't know where the snow and hail came from either.

And completely non sequitur, have you seen ED's article on spiders? I can't stop staring in horror at the giant spider with the babies and then wanting to cuddle the teeny wanting asking if it can haz cookie.

I love his little feetses! And his little claws!

And what I think is a nice touch are the little stray hairs on Maria's head... it's just that much more realistic.
