shichahnMan, we need a good name for this, or I'm just going to keep calling it The Epic RP. Or maybe I'll call it some kind of ridiculous acronym like Epic OOCBFFShTHRP, which is a little cumbersome. There's a threat.
ANYWAY, this is for you who want to read it, and for me and Lisa to use for reference if we need it. For those who might stumble upon this and have no idea what I'm talking about:

batsfangsflats characters in an ooc format so she could test them out a bit while continuing to set up us the bomb game. (AH FUCK I JUST LOST IT.) I was very bored at the time and was waiting to do something with Shadow in Econtra but couldn't until we finished a thread (that never got finished anyway :/) so we decided we'd play her prospective BFF set off of him. First was Puss in Boots. The two didn't really get along, and mostly, Shadow ignored the poor guy. Not that that's surprising or anything.
Then, she decided to try out Perion Eneas (Persephone).
Alas! Just like the early Doctor Who serials, their first meeting no longer exists. Why is this, you might ask? Well, it's because neither of us saved it. You see, neither of us thought this little game would become so epic and wonderful. They had a fun little confrontation, we enjoyed it, and then we closed our respective IM windows and bid each other goodnight. If only we had known what would come of this meeting!
But for those who were not there, a recap:
Shadow, who seems to have been dropped off in the wrong dimension post-Econtra (gee thanks, Consulo), has found that he is in the city of Belmont, a place that is home to a wide variety of species with some pretty strange attributes. Following his conversation with the cat, and a bit of searching on his own, he is now looking for Professor Pearlman, a physicist at the city's university. His goal is to find someone who will make a replica of his own Chaos Emerald, believing that with two instead of one, he might be able to jump dimensions and get home.
He happens across a very distraught redhead who fails to identify herself (not that he bothers to ask). She's come home from a long day at work, is recently divorced from her husband of three years, may or may not be pregnant, and is definitely pretty tired of dealing with her life. So she's certainly not in the best of moods when the hedgehog drops from a nearby building and tries to interrogate her. Luckily for her, she's carrying mace; luckily for him, he's faster than she is and manages not to get sprayed in the face with it. Nor does he get hit with the can when she throws it at him.
Shadow really wasn't looking for a fight, just some information, but Perion is stressed and more than a little freaked out by the weird-ass thing which came out of the night and probably wants to mug her, for all she knows. She happens to be standing near a windowbox full of roses, and as she has powers over plants, sends the spiky things reaching for Shadow, who jumps above them and destroys them with a couple Chaos Spears. He drops back down to the ground and warns her with a "Don't" that attacking him really isn't a very good idea, but she doesn't listen. Probably because it's sort of the equivalent of the party submission position, in her mind. Yeah right, don't attack the thing that just destroyed the roses with a few blasts of freaky yellow glowing light and probably wants to rob me blind. Yeah. Sure.
So she tries to trap him around the ankles, using the weeds in the sidewalk to grab at him. He stumbles, not expecting this, nor the rose thing, really. Tired of dealing with her and not really sure what she'll try next, he teleports behind her and kicks her in the side of the head. She blacks out and collapses on the sidewalk. Whoops. So he figures, the least he can do is make her a little more comfortable and make sure nobody actually does rob her or worse, and moves her under a nearby awning, with her back against the wall, and sits on the windowbox to wait for her to wake up.
It doesn't take long for her to do so, but she's considerably freaked out still, and really wishes that hedgehog thing would leave her alone. He does so, mouthing a "sorry" before he takes off down the street, but upset as she is, she isn't looking at him, and misses the apology.
Elements of this RP do not correspond exactly with their sister materials - for example, this version of Shadow never had Maria in Econtra (because really, if he'd just been torn away from her and dumped in this weird place, he'd be ballistic), and this version of Perion is later confirmed to be pregnant, which may or may not be the case in the real BFF RP once it starts up.
Next: In which the two make up over drinks, and Perion learns the universe is larger than she'd thought.
