Finally caught up with the series 2 opener of Merlin. And I'm glad to see that it is still as lulzy and fail as last season, with only a moderately better CG budget. ;D (Actually, the gargoyles looked pretty good, and they interacted with the real actors pretty well, considering.) Merlin still looks like Fievel, but at least he didn't wear that stupid neckerchief this episode. And Gwen and Morgana had new dresses! Go costuming department.

Also, I don't know why, but every time I hear the slash dragon talk, I think of the Director of Project Freelancer. wtf? Maybe because John Hurt looks sort of like an older version of John Reed. And they both do narration stuff. But, uh. Totally different characters, what. ... At least, I hope so. That would be the weirdest twist in Merlin ever.

I am still sick. I still have no bird. Pretty sure Amelia's not anywhere in the area or I would've found her by now. Who knows where she took off to. Maybe she went home. Maybe Curtis and Wayne will come across her tomorrow, lol. If not, oh well. I still want a tiercel.

Also. You guys know Scribblenauts, that awesome DS game that can summon, like, anything? Yeah. I messed around in it today and discovered you can summon black holes. And Cthulu. And Longcat and Tacgnol. Freaking awesome.

Edit: I am way too entertained at the state of my computer desk right now. Pay stubs, Amelia's logbook, a cup of tea (black, milk, no sugar), a lemon drop martini, a sketchbook with weirdo sci-fi RP notes, roleplaying dice, several bracelets, a ball of yarn, measuring tape, a leather glove, GRE scores and a college transcript, and a book called Writing Papers in the Biological Sciences. I think this is pretty much an accurate reflection of me. Well, aside from the martini, but it helps with the cough goddamnit. What do you guys have on your computer desks right now? I am curious.

My desk: pencils, a brush pen, some paper, a hangar, a razor (of the shaving variety, wtf), a beanie baby flamingo, shampoo and conditioner, a single coloured pencil (brown), an old can of soda, a current can of soda, phone, dinner.

This is just on my half of the desk, by the way.
