In related news, Beth, I'm sure the discs you mailed are here by now but I won't have access to my mail until Aug. 3rd when the guy I am c/o of on the mailing address returns to the island. Argh. But I have your delicious dried mangoes and will be mailing them as soon as I get a chance to go to the post office.

ALSO. Have any of you actually been watching this season of the IT Crowd? I hope so!

I'm thinking since the episodes are pretty small, I can probably just leave my computer on and download them overnight. And it would be seriously sad if I got around to downloading them before you with your fancy working internet.

Appropriate subject is appropriate, I went to work today and one of the first things out of my manager's mouth is how she was going to bring such-and-such for the potluck today but she stayed up really late watching this cartoon, and I was like which one and she was like, it's called Avatar and I'm like HAHAHAHA YOU DON'T SAY. Apparently her roommate saw the movie and had the same reaction we all did: he needed to go straight home and watch the show to cleanse himself, and he asked Nicole to watch it with him. And she was all dubious but then she watched the first episode and HASN'T BEEN ABLE TO STOP. She's going to watch the epic three-part finale tonight. I'm very excited for her.

...So anyway I told her about the sequel and she was VERY EXCITED and another coworker chimed in (she already knew about the sequel) and then we were all fangirling and we got all of our coworkers all intrigued and one of them's thinking of Netflixing it. :DDD

Pffff yeah I know, I've been all busy with Top Gear and Red vs Blue and Batman: Under the Red Hood and White Collar and lots and lots of Batman comics and for some reason I just haven't been able to make the effort to download IT Crowd as well. Which is silly. I'll probably do that tonight.

THERE, I downloaded all of them, it took, like, ten minutes. Because I have fancy working internet, HA HA. *points and laughs at you... then cries, because your job is cooler*

I'll start watching them tomorrow... I'm still in the middle of the Superman: Doomsday DVD I picked up at Safeway for $3.99. :DD

Okay and I watched the first four episodes with James yesterday, and I'll be watching the fifth one very shortly. I just wanted you to know... SCILONS. THEY DO SCILONS. OH YES. THEY WENT THERE.

All in all, completely AMAZING. I forgot how much I love this show. T_T

Ha! I just got to download the first two today while at a coffee shop, and could not stop laughing. I'm so glad they already have a contract for a fifth season! I think I spent most of the first episode just staring at all their new office decorations. They have the XKCD map of the internet! So awesome! Can't wait until I get to the Scilon episode, oh man, that is fantastic.
