For those who didn't already know, I'm home! Hooray! I have about three weeks before work starts. Mmm... three free weeks. Yay~

So today here in the Portland metro area, we had a pretty extreme storm. It was a nice sunny, warm day until about 4:00 when there was a very brief torrential downpour that made my Opuntia kind of sad. Then it was nice again until about 7:00, when we suddenly got a major thunderstorm, and it rained for about three hours. And boy did it rain. Within two hours, most of Portland was flooded and under up to five inches of water. I have never seen anything like that in so short a period of time. The gutters were overflowing about an hour into the storm, and the bay window I sit in front of was like being behind a waterfall. It was like the storm we had in Walla Walla on Friday, only way worse and several times as long.

I love storms. XD

To do (in order of priority):
[livejournal.com profile] fma_fuh_q drawings: Ed/Alter!Ed; Ed/Alfons
Birthday and mother's day things for my mom, now that I'm home
Figure out what to do with Evil!Al
Learn to cook
Work on more character art for Redbat
Read books for fun, omg
Memorize more Australian rainforest birds
Identify my mom's succulents; clone some for myself Sedum spathulifolium, which is actually native here. I now have three.
Finish my Ravenclaw scarf
Learn to pick locks

And now, a meme.

I have lived through 89 of these 158 things )
