Hmm. I feel as though this meme neglects a lot of things that I do, like fanart and icons, and probably should have some way of accounting for time spent writing/drawing/RPing or even watching/playing the source material. But oh well. :D I'm glad that fandom is not my entire life, even if it's probably a more significant part of it than this meme suggests.

I always look to see if there are, but usually when there is, it's a TDZ-wide thing or something. Though those are also pretty funny sometimes, so long as it's not out-of-date wank in RP!S. ... Except TDZ is kind of crap now, so any hope of those are gone, too, now.

It's still quite active, but the characters most often posting nowadays are awful. Worst AUs ever. It was much better when it was entirely IC, OU versions of the characters, with few exceptions. Now it's full of crappy AUs, and even worse, totally OOC versions of the characters, and the latter isn't allowed at all but our mods are always in absentia and thus can't talk to them or kick them out. And it gets really irritating seeing outsiders on RP!S being like "OH WAH WAH YOU'RE A DRESSING ROOM WHY DO YOU NEED MODS" but it's because... it used to be so good. And now it's terrible. And they could fix it and make it good again if they just took ten minutes out of one day. But they don't.

No, they've always been allowed, but people didn't play the godawful ones they do now. I'm totally cool with most AUs, but when you have an entire AU that is House with Sonic characters and they don't even act like Sonic characters, then... gtfo my TDZ. Or that stupid inverted Sonic cast, of which one person plays most of, and she spams everything and is really obnoxious. Though I'm hoping she gave up, because I haven't seen much from them lately.

We were going to make a new dressing room, but Kay made IMR instead. Which is awesome. But it has its own problems, of course. I wish I could say it was mostly because it's new, but it wouldn't be as much of a problem if the players would actually reply to comments with their characters sooner than 2-3 days after the comment they're replying to was posted.

Oh good lord, I've seen those ones over at dear_mun. Mostly the House!Sonic, but a couple of the inverted cast, too (or maybe that was one of the secrets communities -- either way, seen them and ARGH). I'm really sorry for you guys.

Yeah, that always sucks with new games. I'm hoping that doesn't happen with Overlap when I finally get off my lazy ass and finish it.

Inverted cast (or, as they like to call themselves, abstract, which frustrates me even more) spammed IC!- and RP!Secrets far too much about a month ago. Probably where you've seen them. Then the player who started it was like "DUDE ABSTRACT!SALLY SHOULD BE A BOSS BATTLE" in the ooc comm, since we have epic boss battles for the lulz on occasion, and we were like... dude, why? Supposedly she was going to go crazy and start killing hedgehogs or something, and we're like... lolno. She's just... Sally. Half the characters in the zone could 1-hit KO her, even if she's gone crazy psycho killer. Which, by the way, is extremely ooc and therefore not allowed.

I don't see why people are so slow with tagging there. It'd be fine if it was just one or two people, and if they just had a project or paper or something on a weekend and therefore got delayed a bit. That's totally normal. But, it's like... me and Mandy are the only ones who tag regularly. EVERYONE else is slow. Some have their perfectly valid excuses, but it's hard for me to see how every single other person in the game is unable to tag all the time.

I like the two of them hanging out together, but her voice is really kind of tetchy since I started playing Persephone regularly. It also seemed like she moved ahead in the time since you were gone, and I feel weird RPing them where they are now because it feels like... the past, I guess? I'm not sure if that makes sense.

I see what you mean, yeah, but am also a tiny bit confused since she... hasn't moved ahead at all, in reality. But I guess that's because I don't actually see her as Persephone. They seem really different to me - Perion seems more like her own character, a young woman in a crappy situation who needs to get out and start anew and raise her child in a better place than the one she's in, untroubled by creepy exes from her past. Persephone just seems like an obnoxious teenage goddess (note that I don't find her personally obnoxious, it's just a character trait XD).

I feel like I, and Shadow, know Perion really well and care about her, and the case is not at all so much with Persephone. I dunno. Perion is just awesome, and I'd finish the story on my own if I thought I was good enough at writing her, but there's no question to me that nobody but you could ever write her properly. I just have so many wonderful scenes imagined out already for things they have yet to do, and it'll make me really sad if they never get to happen. Because on some small scale, it really is an epic adventure that the two of them get to have. They're like the Doctor and Donna, only even better. I miss that. D:

Oh, no. I actually think Persephone can be obnoxious beyond all reason, which is what makes her fun to play despite wanting to give her a good smacking every once in a while. :D

Like, I know the two of them are separate entities, I can distinguish them well enough in my head and they each have their own voices, traits, etc. It's just kinda that the story continued in my head to a different point because of everything we had planned ahead, so I can imagine what's going to happen already and it's hard to drag it back that old point.

I still really do want to continue Epic, though. I think once we get past the point the two of them are at now, I'll be good. It's just getting through that I have to do first (and I don't want to skip on writing any of it because that would be crap and fail and CRAP).

That entire thing just made me really happy and I'm sorta blushing like a madwoman right now. Just so you know.

Haha, see, I think we did the same thing only it's having opposite effects. For you it seems like it already happened, so there's no need to write it, whereas for me, knowing what's coming up makes me want for it to be written even more. I want to see Sebastian thinking he's all clever, what with not giving the fake emerald up quite like he's supposed to. Shadow's RAEG at this, and Perion's horror when she realizes the little three-foot spiky thing is capable of so much violence. And then the satisfying conclusion as the day is saved, the leap is made, and the world is a better place. :D And then there will be a whole new post-conclusion world to play with, whenever we feel like it.

Aww~ hehe. Well, I'm glad that made you happy. It's just... true. They're so awesome together, I cannot even describe the awesome they are made of.

But obviously if nothing seriously critical is going on there (and nothing will be, or that'd make things too difficult), he'd be more than willing to go explore other places, and it will be awesome.
