I see what you mean, yeah, but am also a tiny bit confused since she... hasn't moved ahead at all, in reality. But I guess that's because I don't actually see her as Persephone. They seem really different to me - Perion seems more like her own character, a young woman in a crappy situation who needs to get out and start anew and raise her child in a better place than the one she's in, untroubled by creepy exes from her past. Persephone just seems like an obnoxious teenage goddess (note that I don't find her personally obnoxious, it's just a character trait XD).
I feel like I, and Shadow, know Perion really well and care about her, and the case is not at all so much with Persephone. I dunno. Perion is just awesome, and I'd finish the story on my own if I thought I was good enough at writing her, but there's no question to me that nobody but you could ever write her properly. I just have so many wonderful scenes imagined out already for things they have yet to do, and it'll make me really sad if they never get to happen. Because on some small scale, it really is an epic adventure that the two of them get to have. They're like the Doctor and Donna, only even better. I miss that. D:
