Hooray for food service. ::laughs:: The Prentiss dining hall had their annual Thanksgiving dinner last night, and oh boy was it tasty. They kind of failed at the turkey, but they succeeded miraculously in just about everything else. Candied yams, cranberry sauce, lots of things that looked wonderful that I did not have room to eat, and five or six different kinds of pie. I hear the stuffing was good, but it looked too oniony for my taste. Chocolate silken pie, though? Mmmmm.

Also, Angela and I decided to be stupid fangirls to the max and took a break from studying for tonight's orgo test to see a lecture at das Deutsche Haus on the history of the debate on homosexual freedoms and rights in Germany. ::laughs:: We felt it was a highly necessary way to spend an hour.

I got registered for all my classes for next semester! I will have no afternoons, practically, since I've got labs three days of the week. But I will continue in the fine Whitman tradition of having (almost) no classes on Fridays.. hehe. I've got marine bio at nine for an hour, but that's not bad at all. I'm really excited that I'll only have an 8:00 am class on Mondays, rather than every day. Marine bio is going to be so much fun. As is my King Arthur class. Whee~

Ah, man, that sounds delicious. I kind of fear for Thanksgiving here at my end. My uncle has the idea to actually cook something and that scares me just a little bit. My stomach weeps.

That would most definitely be a necessary way to spend an hour~

At least you get take some really interesting classes, though, especially marine biology. Heheh... We only get really cruddy classes in high school. XP

It was quite tasty, but I'm rather looking forward to the home-cooked variety of Thanksgiving dinner as well. ^_^ I love cranberry sauce like whoa... I can eat that stuff for days on end and not get tired of it.. hehe.

It was amusing. To our slight dismay it focused primarily on writings done in the late 1800s, but it's all good. XD;

Yeah, I know.. I enjoyed high school while I was in it, but college is way more fun. I'm not particularly looking forward to having to take cell biology or psychology next semester, but I'll live. And then next year I'll finally have some free time to take art classes again~

Homecooked meals are usually the best~ I'm more a fan of the turkey, as are the cats. It's always amusing to see them prance around the oven waiting for it to be done. XD

They shouldn't be too bad. I always thought psychology would be somewhat interesting to take, myself. Hurrah for art classes. The one thing that keeps the sanity going~

Hehe... my cat never really liked table scraps or anything, I was kind of surprised. She only ate her dry cat food. Pretty weird for a cat, I guess.

Oh, psychology will be interesting, I'm sure, I'm just worried that it might be a lot of work to add on top of cell bio and marine bio. Cell bio is going to be a pretty tough class, I know that already.. heh. Just so long as the labs don't all eat my life. Because I know they'll try.
