Ehh, instead of replying to everyone individually, I will just say that yesterday wasn't that bad, just really annoying. And the Hal Turner thing is both funny and scary at the same time. Mostly funny though.

Anyway, I thought I would announce to all of you my new side-journal, [livejournal.com profile] tinylongwing, in anticipation of trapping tomorrow. That will be the journal I use for posting all of my falconry stuff, some of it as mundane as the bird's weight several times every day (for my own reference), and much of it surely more interesting (such as photos and Exciting Stories).

Hopefully we'll actually, you know, catch something. But since it's cool and cloudy here right now, this bodes well for tomorrow morning. A hot sunny day means the kestrels won't be hungry, but since right now it's 65 and cloudy at 12:30, and since we plan on starting at 7 am tomorrow, well. I've got my fingers crossed. :)

And now, to go buy some live feeder mice for bait, woo.

Edit:
HOLY SHIT GUIZE, THEY'RE ACTUALLY THINKING ABOUT IT. GO HERE AND PUT 97205 (Downtown PDX) RIGHT NOW. DO IT.

Oh yeah, strange thing happened earlier. Apparently Season 5 of RvB hates me and wouldn't let me computer ready it. XD

I know, it's so wtf. All the other ones work perfectly, well, except Reconstruction and my 360 didn't get along with each other, but that's unsurprising.

Aww, that one should've worked fine too, it's just a video_ts. Does it play normally on your computer? 'Cause it acted just like a regular dvd, autoplay and all, when I tested it on my laptop.

Nope. I have to go to My Computer and tell it to open with a program.

:/ That is really quite strange. But as long as it opens somehow, I guess that's fine. You could always try re-burning it yourself, I guess, if you wanted to.

Eh, too much effort. I'm leaving home soon for the dorm, so the main point of having it play like a DVD will be lost soon. No biggie. |D

Yeah, true. Well, alright then. :D ...Still weird about S5 though. What have you tried opening it with?

Nothing, since my disk drive won't even acknowledge its existence. :D; It tries to read it for the longest time before popping open, telling me to insert an actual disk.

.... :D; I have no idea what that's about.

I don't either because like I said, none of the other disks do that. Season 5 is such a rebel.
