I'm really, really glad you guys didn't have a tie on the final vote, that would've been kind of hard to fix. So, according to you guys, the two best birds (of the ones to pick from, anyway) are the Golden Eagle and the American Kestrel! North America's largest raptor and also its smallest, haha.





The two votes the kestrel received on the last poll were the only two votes it ever received in the entire course of the meme! You guys really like that little bird. It's okay, I do too. ;D

Anyway, that concludes our island bird poll. Which as we all know, was much better than voting for stupid-looking people. The end.

I didn't understand this whole thing at all (probably because I came in while it was in progress) but it was fun seeing what the final results were. ^^

Haha, well, the original island meme was that you pick ten male celebrities and ten female celebrities that you find attractive and then people on your friendslist vote them off one by one based on who they find less attractive. But I could only come up with a very small handful of people and decided to do raptors instead, and people voted off the ones they least liked the looks of. So it was very silly.

Oh, I liked this a lot better than I would have liked that. I was really confused by the island thing in the post titles, but now I understand. I thought they were supposed to be island birds, but most of them weren't. So I was a touch confuzzled. ^^

Haha, yeah, I can see how that would be confusing if you'd missed the first post. And if you didn't have a bunch of other people doing the celebrity one at the same time. Some of my friends were going to do other weird versions but never got around to it, sigh. I was really looking forward to voting for nudibranchs.
